Christmas Tree Trail – Collab with local school Students – Vote to win gifts!
The joy of the holidays is in the moments, just as much as the gifts. It’s in the warmth of the season and the way it brings loved ones together. It’s the special time, between Christmas and the turn of the new year, where doing nothing together means everything.
School’s out, offices are closed, and to-dos turn into for-whose. A gift for Mum, a surprise for hubby, an event for the kids, and decorations for the home. Giving comes in many forms.
This is the energy we want to create and celebrate in the Myer Centre – the magic, not madness, of Christmas. The special season, without the silly. A reason to come into the city and Myer Centre.
Christmas Tree Trail
Come on in, grab your gifts and delight in the artwork of kids from schools all around Adelaide, on our Christmas Tree Trail. Spot the 18 Christmas trees spread out across all levels, decorated with art from each school. We sent the wooden tree frames (supplied by the Australian Men’s Shed Association in Parafield) to 16 schools from the north, south, east, and west.
Each tree is an art piece in its own right, with each school coming up with their own version of “merry and bright.”
Kids, teachers, parents and schools… you simply must come in and see all their work in situ throughout the Myer Centre.
Shoppers and visitors, you’ll enjoy the festivities plus get to vote on your favourite tree. Use the QR code to cast your vote… and you’ll go in the draw to win a $200 toy pack.
To top all this festive artistry off… the school of the tree with the most votes will win a $300 game and book pack.
Special thank you to the following schools for participating in our Christmas Tree Trail:
