Celebrate NAIDOC Week at the Myer Centre with Aboriginal artist Scott Rathman

Friday 12 9am – 9pm – Ground Floor

Nationwide, the first Sunday in July to the following Sunday is dedicated to celebrating the history and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders people.

Myer Centre is honoured to open up the floor to local Aboriginal artist, Scott Rathman. During NAIDOC Week, for one day only, Rathman’s work will be exhibited for visitors to enjoy. The artist has a poignant ability to tell the story between his culture and the land we call home. His murals are displayed on city streets and public spaces, and within homes hung on walls.

Come appreciate Aboriginal art, purchase a piece for yourself, and let the kids learn about our important history. Rathman’s work is also a special tribute to the Stolen Generation and a platform to educate our future generations. A piece of artwork will be raffled off to support the charity, Aboriginal Literacy Foundation so be sure to get your tickets and you could win your very own Scott Rathman original!
